Puducherry police arrested four youths in the Reddiarpalayam police station limits for attempting to sell ganja to school and college students. Acting on a tip-off during midnight patrolling on the Moolakulam-Villianur Main Road, a team led by Sub-Inspector Kalaiyarasan rounded up the suspects. The arrested individuals were identified as Manikandan, Deva, Saran, and Dhivakar. Police seized 250 grams of ganja and three knives from their possession. Cases were registered under four sections, including the NDPS Act and Arms Act, and all four were remanded to Kalapet jail.
