புதுச்சேரி கோரிமேடு இந்திரா நகர் விரிவாக்க பகுதியை சேர்ந்தவர் வினோத் நவில்சன். இவர் திண்டிவனத்தில் உள்ள தனியார் மருத்துவக் கல்லூரியில் உதவி பேராசிரியராக பணியாற்றி வருகிறார். இவரது குடும்பத்தினர் திருநெல்வேலியில் உள்ள கோயில் திருவிழாவிற்கு சென்று இருந்தனர். இதை பயன்படுத்திய மர்ம நபர்கள் வீட்டின் முன்பக்க கதவின் பூட்டை உடைத்து உள்ளே புகுந்துள்ளனர். பீரோவை உடைத்து அதில் இருந்த 50 பவுன் தங்க நகைகள் மற்றும் ரூ.10,000 ரொக்கப் பணத்தை கொள்ளையடித்து சென்றனர். இதுகுறித்து கோரிமேடு போலீசார் வழக்குப்பதிவு செய்து தீவிர விசாரணை நடத்தி வருகின்றனர்.
A major burglary took place at the residence of a medical professor in Gorimedu Indra Nagar Extension, Puducherry. Vinoth Navilson, who works at a private medical college in Tindivanam, had traveled to Tirunelveli with his family for a temple festival. Taking advantage of their absence, unidentified miscreants broke open the main door lock of the house. The burglars broke open two wooden almirahs and escaped with approximately 50 sovereigns of gold ornaments and Rs 10,000 in cash. Upon returning after being informed by a tenant, the couple lodged a complaint, and Gorimedu police have launched an intensive investigation.
