Puducherry: JIPMER Puducherry is recruiting Nursing
Officers on a regular basis through the Nursing Officer Recruitment
Common Eligibility Test (NORCET)-11, conducted by AIIMS, New Delhi. Online
registration is open until 13 August 2026, 5:00 PM.
The posts are at Level 07 in the Pay Matrix (pre-revised Pay
Band-2, ₹9,300–34,800 with Grade Pay ₹4,600), Group-B.

Eligibility
Candidates must satisfy either of the following:
Option I
- B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council or State
Nursing Council recognised institute or university, OR
B.Sc. (Post-Certificate) / Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from a recognised
institute or university; and - Registered as Nurse & Midwife with a State or Indian Nursing Council.
Option II
- Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) from an Indian Nursing Council or
State Nursing Council recognised institute, board or council; - Registered as Nurse & Midwife with a State or Indian Nursing Council; and
- Two years’ experience in a minimum 50-bedded hospital,
acquired after obtaining the above qualification.

Payment is by debit card, credit card or net banking. Any transaction or
processing charge is payable by the candidate. The fee is not refundable
under any circumstances, and applications without the prescribed fee will
be rejected. SC/ST candidates who actually appear for the examination will have
their fee refunded by AIIMS, New Delhi after results are declared and their
category certificate is verified.

Examination centres will be in cities across India. Requests to change an
allotted examination centre will be rejected without notice.

examinations portal: www.aiimsexams.ac.in
Points candidates should note
- Candidates already registered under One Time Registration (OTR)
in any previous examination must apply using the same ID. Applying with a
different registration ID will lead to rejection. - Eligibility remains provisional. Filling the form and sitting
the examination is not confirmation of eligibility — candidature can be
cancelled at any stage, including after joining, if ineligibility is found. - Those working in Government, Semi-Government, PSUs or autonomous bodies must
upload an NOC by 18.08.2026; failure to do so will cancel
candidature without further notice. - No extension of dates will be granted — candidates are advised
to apply well before the closing date. - AIIMS has warned that it does not authorise any agent, coaching centre,
social-media channel, WhatsApp/Telegram group or third-party website
for recruitment, document verification or fee payment. Rely only on official
notices published on the AIIMS examinations website. - AIIMS New Delhi is only the examination-conducting body; appointment rests with
the participating institution.
