கரூர் நெரிசலில் பலியானோர் குடும்பங்களுக்கு அரசு வேலை அரசாணை ரத்து: சென்னை உயர்நீதிமன்ற கிளை அதிரடி

கரூர் தேர்தல் பிரச்சார நெரிசலில் பலியானவர்களின் குடும்பங்களைச் சேர்ந்த 31 பேருக்கு கருணை அடிப்படையில் அரசு வேலை வழங்கி தமிழக அரசு பிறப்பித்த அரசாணையை உயர்நீதிமன்ற மதுரை கிளை ரத்து செய்தது. லட்சக்கணக்கான இளைஞர்கள் அரசு பணிக்கு காத்திருக்கும் நிலையில், எவ்வித முன்னுரிமை விதிகளையும் பின்பற்றாமல் அரசு வேலை வழங்கியது அரசியலமைப்பு சட்டத்திற்கு எதிரானது என நீதிபதிகள் சுட்டிக்காட்டினர். போக்கில் போகிற மாதிரி அரசு வேலைகளை வழங்கி விட முடியாது என்றும் எச்சரித்தனர். இந்தத் தீர்ப்பை எதிர்த்து தமிழக அரசு நாளை உச்சநீதிமன்றத்தில் மேல்முறையீடு செய்ய தீர்மானித்துள்ளது.

The Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court has quashed the Tamil Nadu government’s order providing government jobs to 31 family members of victims killed in the Karur stampede. The bench criticized the state government for bypassing constitutional norms and equity in public employment while millions of youth wait on merit lists. The court questioned whether government jobs could be distributed casually without evaluating financial backgrounds. In response, the state government has decided to appeal the decision in the Supreme Court.
