தமிழ்நாட்டில் உட்கட்டமைப்பு பணிகளுக்கான கட்டுமானப் பொருட்களின் பற்றாக்குறையைத் தவிர்க்கவும், செயற்கையான விலையேற்றத்தைக் கட்டுப்படுத்தவும் தமிழக அரசு நடவடிக்கை எடுத்துள்ளது. அதன்படி கருங்கல், ஜெல்லி மற்றும் எம்-சாண்ட் உள்ளிட்ட கனிமங்களை பிற மாநிலங்களுக்குக் கொண்டு செல்ல 3 மாத காலத்திற்கு தற்காலிக தடை விதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. காரைக்கால் மற்றும் புதுச்சேரி தவிர மற்ற மாநிலங்களுக்கு இத்தடை பொருந்தும் என தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. தடையை மீறுவோர் மீது கடும் நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கப்படும் என்றும், எல்லை மாவட்ட ஆட்சியர்கள் மற்றும் எஸ்பிக்கள் இதனை உடனடியாக அமல்படுத்த வேண்டும் என்றும் உத்தரவிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.

The Tamil Nadu government has announced a temporary three-month ban on transporting construction minerals, including gravel, jelly, and M-sand, to neighboring states. The decision aims to ensure an uninterrupted supply for domestic infrastructure projects and prevent artificial price surges. Exemptions have been made for Puducherry and Karaikal. District collectors and police superintendents in border districts have been directed to strictly enforce the order and take stringent action against violators.
